The position is responsible for effectively enhancing the drug therapy outcomes of the patients at the Medical Center. This is accomplished through continual assessment of the appropriateness, safety, and efficacy of individualized patient drug therapy and providing recommendations, information, and education to medical, nursing, and pharmacy personnel anf other health care professionals thereby improving the quality of pharmaceutical care recevied by patients. This individual must also have advanced training with either 3-5 years of experience in progressive pharmacy practice or a pharmacy residency.
